Private Coaching

Individualized Approach: We'll identify your current abilities and challenges and then discover together how to move toward your goals. Your needs determine our focus during the sessions.

First Session: The first session is a little longer than a standard session. We'll talk, and I'll ask you a lot of questions about your past experience, feedback you've received, and any goals you may have. My goal will be for both of us to get a sense of whether we're a good fit for working together, and for you to have a glimpse of what our work will be. Most of all, I want you to have clarity about how I may be able to help you. The first session is billed as one hour, but it will take up to 90 minutes.

Location: Los Angeles (Mid-Wilshire). I also travel to work with clients. Contact me for the specific address.

My Rates: I offer a sliding scale to accommodate clients of different means. The regular cost is $125 per hour, and the minimum discounted rate is $90 per hour (prorated for longer sessions).

Duration and Frequency of Study: Most clients do either one or two sessions per week. Less than one session per week is usually not helpful. Depending on your goals, you may finish after a few sessions or continue on a regular basis.

Speech &

Accent Class

What's Covered: Using principles of Knight-Thompson Speechwork, this four week class will teach participants a step-by-step process to achieve integrated flow with any accent of any language. Following the completion of the four weeks, participants will receive two private coaching sessions with me to work on an accent of your choosing.

One of the major challenges of doing an accent is releasing one’s own “oral posture” and then shifting your articulators to take on the oral posture of another accent. This class deals directly with that challenge, guiding students through fine-tuning the physical actions of their articulators, so that they can find more ease and authenticity when speaking in any accent.

Who it's for: This class is open to performers or non-performers, whether you're an actor wanting to learn an accent for your "type" or you're a non-performer wanting more clarity as you speak in your day-to-day life. This class is also ideal for people whose first language isn't English and are wanting to learn an American accent.
